Website Value Calculator

Estimate a website's potential sale value using profit, traffic, monetization, SEO, content, and business risk. Your entries stay in this browser session and are not sent to a server by this calculator.

Step 1 of 6Website basics

1. Website basics

Start with the type of website and how long it has been operating. Fields marked optional can be skipped.

Different from domain registration age.
The estimate is a planning tool, not a formal appraisal or a guarantee of a sale price. The calculator uses the financial and quality information you enter.

2. Traffic and audience

Enter average traffic and the direction it has been moving. Traffic is used mainly to assess risk and business context, not to assign an arbitrary price per visitor.

If you enter traffic shares, try to make them total 100%. If you do not know the split, leave those fields blank rather than guessing.

3. Revenue and operating costs

Enter the site's typical monthly revenue by source, then its monthly operating expenses. Use the same currency throughout.

Use normalized profit after operating expenses, before income tax.
Do not include normal ongoing costs. The calculator treats this as an annual adjustment to profit, so a buyer would need to validate it.
If you enter a 12 month net profit figure, that figure takes priority over the monthly estimate. If you leave it blank, the calculator estimates profit from monthly revenue minus expenses.

4. SEO and domain quality

These details affect confidence and risk. Unknown answers are not automatically treated as problems.

5. Content and transferable assets

Include assets that a buyer can actually take over. Their value may already be reflected in earnings, so the model avoids simply adding their full value again.

6. Risk and transferability

These final answers help estimate how much confidence a buyer might have in maintaining the site's earnings after a sale.

If the site has no sustainable profit, a profit multiple is not a reliable way to value it. The results will explain this and avoid forcing a positive earnings valuation.

Things to verify before relying on this estimate

This is an indicative calculator, not a professional valuation, investment recommendation, or promise of a sale price. The multiple assumptions are illustrative and are not calibrated to a live database of completed sales. Actual sale values depend on comparable transactions, buyer demand, diligence, deal terms, liabilities, and the quality of the evidence supplied. This calculator does not send the entered data to a server or save it to a database. Your WordPress host may separately log ordinary website requests.
